Set up in 2001, the .NAME universal TLD is the single TLD planned for personal web pages only. These domain names can consist of personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are known by. At the beginning, just third-level registrations were allowed, so if you planned to register john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Existing third-level domains remained running.

Through our firm, you can grab your .NAME domain for a period between one and ten years. You will be able to modify the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already purchased domain to our firm if you acquire its EPP transfer key from the present domain service provider and we will renew it after the transfer has been done. There are no particular terms on who can grab a .NAME domain name, but in order to maintain the goal behind its creation alive, the Registry organization may verify who the owner is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain, the registration may be challenged.
